Fun Craft Friday - The Bapron

For Christmas last year I found things that were around my house and made some baprons (found here) for my older nieces. They turned out SO darling and I just love how these work. They are right under the chin and are much longer to catch stray drips. They keep clothes much more clean.

Cut out and sewed together

They turned out very well. I am so happy that I could make them for my cute nieces and my little girl! It may be better to have a skinnier bias tape, but I liked it thick so I could sew it easily. It's not hard to tie, either. The bib stays where I put it, and it goes through the wash like a dream.

I am so happy that I found this tutorial and was able to make it. Watch out for the long strips. Cut extra so that you have enough, just in case. Also, one thing the tutorial didn't mention was that when you sew the piece onto the bottom (towards the pants) of the bib the fabric will pucker a little. This was normal and worked well to give it a little shape.

As always, comments are appreciated.
