Strawberry Banana Applesauce

Strawberries are on sale so I got two large batches (boxes?). We weren't eating them fast enough, so I decided to make some strawberry apple banana sauce.

The first step is to wash them. I washed them up in my sink with white vinegar. 1 part vinegar to 9 parts water. This is something I need to start doing when we first bring home fruits/veggies. They stay better longer.

I then pureed them in our ninja. I love it for baby food, too. I don't actually follow a recipe so I paid attention this time to what I did. I added a few bananas along with about 1/2 cup of applesauce.

I then used my infantino squeeze station to put them into pouches. I love this because I can then put them into the freezer. They stay good for about a month that way (or about 4 days in the fridge).

The kids have loved them! I'm always so happy to be able to provide them with wonderful healthy foods to eat. It helps level out the awful stuff we have around. They actually prefer these treats.

Just a note: I don't get paid by anyone for this post. I just want to show a fun and easy way to bring a healthy option for my kids to eat. You may have a different system, the idea is the same.
