Very big news!

I had a lot of goals that I laid out for this year. I have now completed two of them. The first one I did was not the first on my list. I put it off a little because I was nervous about it. What if it didn't work or it was hard. Then I remembered that this year, my word of the year, I will be BRAVE.

I now own my own domain. My blog is now being hosted on a domain - and I'm so very excited. This will be interesting to go through and make sure that all my links are correct. I will need to remember when typing out my links that things have changed.

It may not seem like a huge deal to others. To me it's such an amazing stepping stone. This blog has been going for five years now. That's a lot of time and craziness that I've put into it. It began because I didn't want to bother my friends & family with all my crafty crap (It's a good term around here).  I love how it has grown into something amazing.

I have met some amazing people and pushed myself. My life has changed into a way that I never imagined. I never thought I could start a business. I never thought I could do all of these things on my own. So from now on I will be blogging on a different domain. I think it makes me more professional and that is what this goal is about - being professional. I'm so happy that I have so much support. I look forward to see what happens in the coming year. The goal of a boutique is just around the corner.

Having your own domain certainly does make your blog look a lot more professional. I started out on a wix site and hate it from the beginning.
