Updates

I have a lot of updates to talk about. Is that so much fun? Yes. Has it been hard? Only to actually write this. I have had a bullet point list on this post for a few weeks and I know that sitting down to write is something I need to do more often. I just would rather nap or sew than write at the moment. Mostly because my 2 yo thinks that 7 am is the time we should always wake up - even on Sundays when I didn't go to sleep until after midnight the night before.

Anyway I think I may still keep this in bullet point form and just add to each item. Here goes:

- Recipe book & lessons : So far my 6 yo daughter has had 3 lessons. That means time spent with people she loves and that love her. The first was with her aunt and they made Spaghetti cupcakes. Then she made no bake cookies with 2 of her aunts. The last lesson was with me and we made german pancakes.

-Boutique: I signed up for my first boutique of the year!! I will have an entire post on that soon b/c it's a big deal to me. Also, look for some more boutiques coming in the summer.

- pillow cases 14x14: I decided to try my hand at some cute pillows. I chose Valentine fabric for them because they look pretty and I found that they are so very fun to make. I hope to do more of these and maybe add them to the shop. I just need to figure out how to ship them.

- htv: This stands for heat transfer vinyl. I just got my new favorite tool. Does anyone need anything cut? I bought the Silhouette Cameo 3 - I did a lot of research into them and this was the one that will fit my needs the best. It was expensive and I know that I will need to do those boutiques just to pay for it. I'm so thankful that my husband and I talked it over and he is always so patient with me when I make decisions. I couldn't ask for a better guy. Anyway, photos of what it can do -

Comments!!

Okay all! I have changed the way that I'm doing commenting on my blog. First I got a domain and now the comments will be different. WHY?! Oh, because I want to interact with readers. I have had so many people comment and I want to say something back, but blogger doesn't have that feature. Therefore, I changed my commenting. I still have all of the comments that have been left on previous posts. I just don't know how to get them back on. I will work on it - until then leave even more comments so I can chat with you as well.

UPDATE: all older comments have been redone. I'm so excited it all worked out.

I want to say thanks - this journey is not easy but it has been fun. I try to keep up with everything online and also sew high quality and wonderful pieces for others. I got a lot of compliments at the boutique for my work and I'm so happy that I could make so many people smile. I also hope that I could inspire at least one person to go home and pull out their sewing machine. Thanks again.
